A film you can be a part of.
So, the film project I’ve been working for the last few months? The Web site has just gone live at WNET. It’s called SACRED and it’s going to be a tour of 365 days of religious life on earth. We’re going to hire pro filmmakers to go out and get footage, but we will also be accepting footage from anybody with a camera who films something that’s sacred to them. Whether it’s a baptism or a sunset, Christmas in Bethlehem or some unknown holiday in a place nobody has heard of, it just might end up in SACRED. Think Life in a Day but with a spiritual focus.
Yours truly wrote the copy for the Web site, as well as the press release which just went out to hundreds of filmmakers around the globe. Exciting times!
I love this idea, there are so many objects, places, ideas, worthy of spiritual respect. I hope someone films a trip to the Met or the Natural History Museum.
